 Welcome to Phillips & Company – A Legacy of Excellence in Accounting Since 1936
 

Our journey began in March 1936, when Joseph R. Zazueta founded his Individual Certified Public Accounting practice in Los Angeles. As a dedicated sole practitioner, Mr. Zazueta served his clients with unwavering commitment and skill until 1954 when he took on a like-minded partner, Roy H. Osterhout, giving rise to the partnership of Zazueta, Osterhout & Company in 1955.
 

Throughout the years, our firm continued to flourish, earning a reputation for precision, integrity, and professionalism. In August of 1973, we were joined by C. Anthony Phillips as a partner, further enhancing our expertise and extending our reach to better serve our valued clients.
 

In 1982, we decided to embrace a new chapter, relocating to the beautiful city of Pasadena. With this move came a fresh identity, and we proudly became known as Phillips & Company, solidifying our commitment to progress and adaptability.
 

In 2020, we joyously welcomed Patrick Karapetian to the Phillips & Company family. This addition marked not only the growth of our team but also the continuity of the legacy laid down by Mr. Zazueta and Mr. Phillips – a legacy built on trust, competence, and excellence.
